| Every
day since 1961, El Chepe (as this unique train is familiarly called),
ventures into the imposing landscapes of the sierra Tarahumara, until
it reaches the area that encircles the most representative characteristics
of the Tarahumara culture, history and folklore: the Barrancas del Cobre
or Copper Canyon, as this region is known worldwide. |
In order to provide our passengers with a worldwide class service, Ferrocarril Mexicano, owner of the CHEPE train, initiated on 1998 the rehabilitation of his Express and Economic Class fleet. The most modern and comfortable passenger train in Mexico will afford you the most memorable ecoturism experience in the country.
